Emceeing With Purpose: A Month of Life-Changing Events

The past month has been a whirlwind — not just of bright lights and packed ballrooms, but of purpose, connection, and the kind of impact that stays with you long after the mic is off.

I’ve had the absolute honor of emceeing three incredible events that reminded me why I do what I do — and how powerful it is when a community shows up with open hearts and a shared mission.

 City Lights Foundation Gala

This night was unforgettable. Together, we raised over $120,000 to support those experiencing homelessness right here in Oklahoma. The room was full of warmth, vision, and generosity,  proof that when we come together, we can literally change lives. City Lights doesn’t just offer help  they offer hope, and I was so proud to stand beside them on that stage.

Stay Gold Gala

As a Tulsa native, this one hit home. The Stay Gold Gala celebrates and preserves the legacy of S.E. Hinton’s The Outsiders,  a story that has touched generations and now inspires a new one. This event reminded us all that no matter what side of the street we were born on, we’re more alike than different. The gala was not just about honoring the past, it was about building bridges through story, art, and community. This was the first-ever gala for the organization, and it was a beautiful success  held at the stunning OKPOP Museum, right in the heart of Tulsa’s Arts District. The energy in the room was electric, the message was meaningful, and the support was overwhelming. With such a powerful turnout and heartfelt response, there's no doubt: this won’t be the last.

Giving Spirits — Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

I had the joy of emceeing Giving Spirits for the first time, benefiting the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma  and it couldn’t have come at a more urgent time. With so many Oklahomans affected by recent SNAP disruptions, the need for food security is higher than ever. Events like this provide more than meals  they provide dignity, stability, and love for our neighbors. And I’m proud to use my voice to help fuel that mission.
